This is the SIXTH of 8 components in the Crestron Basics - Commercial Track.

In this course, learn about Crestron AV over IP technology, including DM NVX®, DM NAX™ & DM NUX, as well as learning the networking knowledge fundamentals needed to be successful in the configuration of Internet to support Crestron AV over IP Solutions. This course give you the key networking concepts needed such as Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP), Protocol-Independent Multicast, Virtual Local Area Networks, and Broadcast domain. This course will also cover an overview of Network Security and Networking best practices for DM NVX® & DM NAX™.

After successful completion of this class, the learner will have a basic understanding the following topics:
-Key network configuration protocols to support Crestron AV-Over-IP solutions
-Security in relation to Crestron AV over IP
-Networking Best Practices for DM NVX®, DM NAX™, DM NUX products.
