Crestron - Foundations of Crestron Programming (CTI-P101) (CON05)


Description
*Signing up for this course will REQUIRE submitting a training request through the Education tab of Focus.

*This course REQUIRES "Crestron - Crestron Fundamentals (CTI-CF)" (or the test-out option) and "Crestron Construct Software: UI Development Level 1" (CTSC-U101) as prerequisites.

This course lasts 3 full days and is online, instructor-led.

In this course, students will be taught the foundational programming techniques needed to create, modify, and troubleshoot basic SIMPL Windows programs. Students will gain a basic understanding of modules within a control system program and be educated on the principles and best practices relating to Audio/Visual programming.

After successful completion of this class, the student will be able to:
-Review a Crestron Construct interface.
-Create SIMPL Windows programs and add devices.
-Identify basic logic and data types in SIMPL Windows.
-Understand logic symbols and signal names.
-Learn to troubleshoot with SIMPL Windows Debugger.
-Create and implement a user module.
-Import a Crestron Driver

This certification is worth 21 CTS Renewal Units.
